In 2014, Phil Sanders founded Foster, a community space where artists, creatives and entrepreneurs could gather and support one another. From here the idea of Citizen Supply was born. Citizen Supply officially opened in Ponce City Market in 2015, as one of the first tenants on the second floor.
Today the shop offers a plethora of handmade goods and serves to connect the community with local makers and artists. Listen in as we talk with Phil about making the leap from Foster to Citizen Supply and the highs and lows of growing a retail business.
