Campbell High School Entrepreneurs

Learning the ins and outs of building a brand before legal voting age

Today, we’re going back to school. Literally. Several months ago we got an awesome email from Michael Chasteen in Cobb County. Michael has a background in marketing, but in his new career, he serves as a high school teacher at Campbell High School in Smyrna. But this isn’t your typical high school experience necessarily. At Campbell, Michael is part of a program called work-based learning, where the curriculum is centered around giving the students practical work experience during the school day. Currently, they’re talking about entrepreneurship and the opportunities it provides, and have even used this very podcast to learn about the ins and outs of building a successful business. But it’s a lot more than talk. As you’ll hear in today’s show, several of the students at Campbell have taken the concept, and turned it into reality.
